CyberLink PowerDVD – How to take pictures

  1. After you have fully installed CyberLink Power DVD pop in your DVD and start the program. It should look something like this:

2. It may not look exactly like this but go to “Configuration.” Then you will see something that looks like:

3. Then click on the button titled “Advanced…”

4. See “capture to file” is selected? Make sure your’s has been selected as well. Then you can “browse” where you want the pictures to be placed after you take them. I like to place them on my desktop so its easier to find them but its really up to you.

5. Then if you find a scene you want all you have to do is push the “Capture” icon like in the picture below:

6. After you push the “Capture Frame” button the screen shot will go in the folder you decided the pictures to go. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

7. I am now lazy, so you must read. To shrink down the pictures I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I get to it by right clicking on the picture and going to "open with" and selecting it.

8. Then to shrink it down you go to 320 by 213. You can do this by clicking on "Edit Pictures" Then a side bar will appear on the right hand side and go to "Resize" Then you can choose your own custom width x height. Then save it and that takes care of size.

9. Then right click and open with paint. Go to "save as" and change the file type from a BMP to JPEG. Then your done! Then you just put them in a zipped folder and e-mail them with your review! its that simple!

P.S. (You can use other programs to shrink it as well, Photoshop, Paint, + more)
